Farrah est psychologue provisoire agréée à Edmonton, en Alberta, et possède plus de 6 ans d’expérience en counselling, notamment en emploi et en réadaptation professionnelle. Elle est parfaitement bilingue, en anglais et en français, ce qui lui permet d’établir un lien significatif avec sa clientèle. Elle a travaillé auprès de la communauté francophone d’Edmonton ainsi qu’avec des personnes de tous horizons confrontées à des obstacles à l’emploi. She has experience working with the French community in Edmonton and with individuals from all walks of life with barriers to employment.

Sylvie Desjardins is the owner of NxCareer. She has been a Certified Canadian Counselor (CCC) since 2011 and a Licensed Counseling Therapist (LCT) since 2017. in 2018, she became a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP) after passing the national exam. With over 12 years of experience in career development, she honed her expertise by completing a Master’s degree in career counseling (M.O.) at the University of Moncton and participating in various training programs over the years.

As a business owner and career specialist, Sylvie has appeared in several special editions of Acadie Nouvelle, been invited numerous times to CBC/Radio-Canada as a career expert, and in March 2022, to Global News to discuss new employee retention strategies. In 2023, she was also a contributor and offered a bi-monthly column on Radio-Canada’s program “Michel le Samedi.”

In 2020, Sylvie received a “20 under 40” award presented by the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce. Sylvie serves on the board of directors of the New Brunswick Economic Council, is the Francophone director for NB at the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association, and is a proud mentor for CARDE, a mentoring program for New Brunswick entrepreneurs.
