Sylvie Desjardins is the owner of NxCareer. She has been a Certified Canadian Counselor (CCC) since 2011 and a Licensed Counseling Therapist (LCT) since 2017. in 2018, she became a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP) after passing the national exam. With over 12 years of experience in career development, she honed her expertise by completing a Master’s degree in career counseling (M.O.) at the University of Moncton and participating in various training programs over the years.

As a business owner and career specialist, Sylvie has appeared in several special editions of Acadie Nouvelle, been invited numerous times to CBC/Radio-Canada as a career expert, and in March 2022, to Global News to discuss new employee retention strategies. In 2023, she was also a contributor and offered a bi-monthly column on Radio-Canada’s program “Michel le Samedi.”

In 2020, Sylvie received a “20 under 40” award presented by the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce. Sylvie serves on the board of directors of the New Brunswick Economic Council, is the Francophone director for NB at the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association, and is a proud mentor for CARDE, a mentoring program for New Brunswick entrepreneurs.

Mylène is a Canadian Certified Counselor (CCC), a Licensed Counselling Therapist - Candidate (LCT-C), and a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP). She has a master’s degree in career counseling from the Université de Moncton and is always excited to support the team’s various projects. Mylène easily creates and maintains a relationship of trust with her clients and thrives on helping them attain their personal and professional goals. Her areas of expertise include counseling, coaching, vocational interviewing, résumé writing and administering psychometric assessments. Fun fact: Mylène is an ISFJ! As part of her graduate studies, Mylène was particularly interested in women’s career development and touched on a few important variables such as the process of socialization, gender stereotypes, self-efficacy and the relational dimension.

Mylène est une Conseillère canadienne certifiée (CCC), une Candidate-Conseillère thérapeute agréée et une Professionnelle en réadaptation professionnelle certifiée (CVRP). Elle détient une maîtrise en orientation de l’Université de Moncton et est toujours ravie d’appuyer les différents projets de l’équipe. Mylène a une facilité à établir et maintenir une relation de confiance avec ses clients (es) et s’épanouie en les aidant à atteindre leurs objectifs personnels et professionnels. Ses domaines d’expertise comprennent le counseling, le coaching, la rédaction de C.V. et l’administration d’évaluations psychométriques. Fait amusant : Mylène est une ISFJ !
